Following the renovation of its MacBook series, Apple is set to revolutionize the iPad landscape. Rumors indicate that the tech giant is set to introduce four new iPad models, encompassing the iPad Pro and iPad Air, featuring notable upgrades such as expanded displays and a powerful processor, potentially the state-of-the-art M3 chip. This promises a wide range of choices for its dedicated user community.
Initially, rumors indicated that Apple would unveil the new iPad lineup alongside the MacBook refresh. However, Apple has not provided any official confirmation on this matter. Nonetheless, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggests that a refreshed iPad lineup is on the horizon, with a potential launch as early as this month.
As per reports, Apple is gearing up to launch four new iPads with significant upgrades including expanded screens, the cutting-edge M3 chip, and added functionalities, aimed at catering to a wide range of users. These upcoming devices are set to elevate Apple’s tablet offerings by delivering enhanced performance, display clarity, and design elements.

iPad Pro Series
OLED Displays – The upcoming iPad Pro series will feature OLED screens, marking a significant departure from current LCD and mini-LED displays. It promises superior black levels and contrast, enhancing the visual experience.
Slim Design – These iPads will feature a sleeker profile, with the 11-inch model measuring 5.1mm and the 12.9-inch at 5.0mm. This reduction in thickness is partially credited to the thinner profile of OLED technology in contrast to traditional LCD panels.
M3 Processor – The arrival of the M3 chip holds the potential for enhanced performance and efficiency across the iPad Pro lineup. Although its full potential with iPadOS remains uncertain, Apple may ease certain constraints on features like Stage Manager.
Enhanced Magic Keyboard – Apple plans to overhaul the Magic Keyboard with a sturdy aluminum build. This updated version aims to offer a laptop-like experience for the iPad Pro, enhancing the overall user satisfaction.
iPad Air Series

Expanded iPad Air Lineup – Apple will introduce a new 12.9-inch model alongside the existing 10.9-inch version. The new model will adopt a flat-edged design similar to the iPad Pro, which marks the first time the iPad Air will offer two display sizes, following in the footsteps of the iPad Pro.
Enhanced Display Technology – Analyst Ross Young suggests that the 12.9-inch iPad Air model will boast a mini-LED screen similar to the previous generation of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Mini-LED technology offers superior brightness and contrast compared to traditional LCD screens.
Redesigned Camera Setup – The new iPad Air models are expected to feature a revamped camera bump with a vertically oriented layout similar to older iPhone models. This redesign may incorporate a camera flash, hinting at possible new camera functionalities.
Front Camera – Apple intends to relocate the front-facing FaceTime camera to the landscape side, matching the user’s perspective when holding the device horizontally or utilizing it with the Magic Keyboard.

iPad Lineup Pricing and Availability
According to Bloomberg reports, the upcoming iPad Pro is anticipated to debut later this month, with devices already undergoing mass production and scheduled for release by late March. iPad Air models are expected to hit the market within a few weeks. While pricing for the new iPad Pro models is anticipated to be approximately $160 higher than previous generations, rumors are suggesting even higher starting prices, with one rumor hinting at a $1,500 starting price for the 11-inch iPad Pro with OLED and a $1,800 starting price for the 12.9-inch version.
